The Technical Officers of the Western Cape Mineral Processing Facility organise a final year mineral processing student tour on an annual basis. The aim of the tour is to expose students to industrial mineral processing operations and it is a good opportunity for staff and students to witness the processes and operations discussed in lectures and practicals. These tours are seen as essential for engineering students who may never have seen a mineral processing plant.
